Cocktail Functions at Solitary

Minimum number of guests required

For midday or afternoon functions, we require a minimum of 45 people to offer you sole use of the garden area.

Marquee in case of bad weather

For garden weddings and cocktail functions at Solitary, it is necessary to have a marquee set up in case of bad weather. For 45 to 65 people you would require a 5m x10m marquee. The basic price for this size marquee is $1600. There are optional extras such as silk lining, flooring, floral decorations etc.

For over 60 and up to 100 people, you would require a 5m x 15m marquee which is $2200 

Solitary will supply you with our own garden furniture, (Parisian bistro style) a total of 18 chairs and 6 tables.

Menu

There is a selection of cocktail finger food which you can view on the sample menu tab. The minimum cost of food per person is $48.00 which includes 8 different canapes. The price per canape listed on the sample menu is for 1.5 of each canape per person. ( ie. For 50 people we would serve 75 pieces of each canape ordered).

Exclusive Use

You would have sole use of the garden area including your marquee. The inside area of our restaurant would be in use for other restaurant patrons. Large cocktail functions over 100 people, may use both the restaurant and the marquee.
